The IO Hawk brand, powered by Nextnel GmbH, develops innovative modes of transportation in the field of electric mobility in collaboration with its partners. All IO Hawk models are designed at our Krefeld facility and are subject to continuous development and improvement by our team of designers and engineers. We are a young, forward-thinking company, and customer satisfaction is a key cornerstone of our business philosophy. We want to make a difference, and we love all forms of alternative transportation related to electric mobility. – 2015 – Initially intended exclusively for the logistics industry, Justin Bieber’s line „Look what your boy just got, brand new, this is called the IO Hawk” sent all of Hollywood into a frenzy, and overnight, the IO HAWK ONE hoverboard—unveiled for the first time and priced at 1,500 euros—became a coveted item among countless stars. In 2017, we introduced the world’s first off-road hoverboard, the IO Hawk Cross, and in May 2018, we unveiled the first hoverskates to the global public. As part of the legalization of electric mobility in Germany, we became the first manufacturer in the retail sector to receive the General Operating Permit from the Federal Motor Transport Authority on June 21, 2019, for our e-scooter model Sparrow, and just five days later, on June 26, 2019, we received the „GO” for our Exit-Cross model, the only legal off-road e-scooter in Germany. We are now the market leader in Germany with our high-end e-scooter models, as we develop high-tech electric mobility solutions in the luxury segment. As one of the few manufacturers in Europe, we have our own production line in Krefeld, where the individual models are refined and equipped with „Made in Germany“ components. Our international operations, development, customer service, marketing, and sales are all managed from our Krefeld location. With our headquarters, warehouse, logistics center, numerous partners, and branches in Asia, we are at the cutting edge, internationally connected, and broadly diversified.

International activities, development, customer service, marketing and sales are managed from the Krefeld site in Germany (near Düsseldorf). The proximity to the port of Rotterdamm (Netherlands) allows container delivery usually on the same day after customs clearance. Our team is regularly on site at our branches in Changzhou and Ningbo. As a premium manufacturer, we are able to make changes to the scooter at any time thanks to our own production line in Germany. With our team, we have our finger on the pulse, are internationally networked and broadly diversified.
