ZHE JIANG TAOTAO VEHICLES CO.,LTD:

We know that almost all companies and brands often try not to name their production partners, for fear that competitors might use this information. Did you know that there is no exact regulation, either at the national or European level, on how high the share of the value chain generated in Germany must be to call a product “Made in Germany”? We want to take a completely different approach, because we are incredibly proud to work with TaoTao.

ZHE JIANG TAOTAO VEHICLES CO.,LTD was founded in 2015 and is a high-tech company
Focus on research and development, production and sales of motor vehicles (off-road vehicles,
motorcycles), electric vehicles (scooters, balance bikes, electric bicycles) and
Accessories and consumer goods used for outdoor leisure and entertainment and local transportation.

With 250,000 m2, Tao Tao is one of the largest factories in the world in its field and has more than 1,500 employees. The output of eScooters in 2021, for example, was more than 795,000 eScooters alone. 

Another special feature is that many components of an eScooter are manufactured directly in the factory. This speeds up the production process immensely.  

Our team has already been on site several times and we can tell you that we drove through the halls in a golf cart for 45 minutes and still haven't seen everything. The size of the company is equivalent to several football pitches.  

Quality control is also carried out extremely professionally. A separate building is available for this purpose. Below is a selection of the test equipment.

We are flying with our team on 20.11. This time we will be accompanied by a professional camera team who will make a kind of documentary out of it, true to our motto: Road to Elite X.  

We know that many of you have asked for this, and we are happy to give you a glimpse behind the scenes. We believe that this step is unique in the eScooter industry.
